The Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited's Dahej and Vadodara plants were awarded first and second runners up awards in the glass and chemicals category respectively at the Green Environment (GreEnv) contest 2011-12.
Vadodara and Dahej plants were also awarded the first and second runners up awards in the fertilizers and chemicals category respectively in the good housekeeping contest 2012-13.
