The quest for making robot music with human hands goes on for Midnight Juggernauts - and there isn't a Daft Punk helmet in sight.

The title of their new album was inspired by the Japanese scientist Masahiro Mori, who hypothesised in 1970 about human reactions to advances in artificial intelligence.
His study suggested a tipping-point of human rejection, or an 'uncanny valley', if robots ever became too real. Stricker says the theory is being tested as we tumble down the electronic rabbit hole.
"We can all see CGI and robotics becoming more realistic, and there's the underlying fear that the technology will take over," Stricker says.
"I read the other day about iPhone technology that can indicate when you're going to crash into something. According to the developer it's been proven that as we're progressing we're losing some of our senses so we need inventions to make up for them.
"I thought that was terrifying."
The album Uncanny Valley was conceived in two stages: the first influenced by '70s French breakbeat and the likes of Serge Gainsbourg, offering smooth and melodic tracks, such as the Beatles-esque Master Of Gold.
The later material was shaped by modern forms of electronica, and the local musicians Midnight Juggernauts have signed to their record label Siberia, including industrial dance act Forces and looping guru Kirin J Callinan.

That sums up what longtime farmer Karl Probst said he sees as the main things to think about when he and other farmers start to get out their tractors and planters and travel rural roads from one field to another.
Probst farms near Lerna and remembers times driving his machinery on Lerna Road and seeing “people come up flying behind you” and end up in a ditch because they couldn’t slow down soon enough.

He said he thinks most farmers are “pretty cognizant” about their blocking traffic but echoed Probst in saying there are only certain places farmers can move to the side to let others pass.
“That goes back to being patient,” Cox said.
Though his office hasn’t responded to any farm machinery accidents recently, Cox said he remembers someone rear-ending a tractor and another trying to pass a tractor and cutting back too soon and hitting the machine.
Hilly areas and others with no-passing zones where visibility ahead is limited are places to be especially careful, Cox added.
He also said it’s a “recipe for disaster” if a motorist tries to pass a farm implement when the farmer is making a left hand turn. And those might not be just at roadways and drives, as farmers sometimes enter fields at places where there are no visible entrances, he said.
Cox urged farmers to use hand signals or on board turn signals, something Probst said he does but that motorists still sometimes don’t see. Probst said the other drivers’ “first thought” is to try to pass and he tries to let them around first or move to the middle of the road so they can’t pass, he said.
“You kind of got to help them drive their vehicles,” he said.

Cox said farmers can legally use public roads for their machinery without license plates or similar requirements for other vehicles because they’re classified as “implements of husbandry.” He said they need to have the orange triangular “slow-moving vehicle” emblem on the back for daytime driving and lights for use at night.
