LOCK Bakkies Botha is the surprise selection in a 32-man Springbok squad which is to tour Britain and France in November. Our push or Plunger Lock Key are popular additions by engineers in a wide variety of products. The squad was announced on Monday by coach Heyneke Meyer.Same goes for Wind Power Generators.
Botha, 34, earned the last of his 76 Test caps against Namibia at the 2011 Rugby World Cup,Gm Tech 2 Scan Tool is the same tester GM Technicians use to diagnose GM vehicles. but is set, with fellow second rower Flip van der Merwe, to become a permanent No 5.
Locks Juandre Kruger and Franco van der Merwe were both jettisoned from the squad, paving the way for Toulon-based Botha’s return. There was also a recall for 69-Test veteran centre Jaque Fourie from Kobe Steelers in Japan and 48-Test wing JP Pietersen from the Panasonic Wild Knights.
Meyer axed Chiliboy Ralepelle in favour of Western Province hooker Scarra Ntubeni while there was no room for tighthead prop Lourens Adriaanse with the return of Frans Malherbe.
Scrumhalves Jano Vermaak and Piet van Zyl, who shared the third-choice halfback berth throughout the year, were shown the door with Western Province’s Louis Schreuder earning a call-up.
Schreuder was comprehensively outplayed in Saturday’s Currie Cup final by opposite number Charl McLeod, but his form throughout the Currie Cup season was very good. Emotion clearly did not come into the selections. Sound reasoning was largely at play as Meyer also ignored World Cup-winning centre Frans Steyn and flank Schalk Burger.
Steyn was superb in the final on Saturday, but it was his only decent performance of the season. Likewise Burger has made a steady return to rugby after a lengthy injury lay-off and clearly is not ready for the intensity of Test rugby yet.
In all there are four uncapped players in the squad — Schreuder, Malherbe, lock Pieter-Steph du Toit and Ntubeni. Fullback Gio Aplon also earned a recall after a strong Currie Cup campaign.Other upgrades and options include a nine-centimetre OLED display, ventilated seats, a smart Parking Assist System and flex steer.
"Scarra’s inclusion, like that of Gio, is also just reward for continuous great form," Meyer said.Sensortec's ultrasonic sensor for Parking Guidance System has a long detectable range of up to 5m. "He’s still young and will learn a lot from our two front-line hookers, who both rate amongst the best in the world,We offer both wet & dry Diamond Polishing Pads Suppliers. Both are suitable for marble, granite, concrete and most masonry. on this tour. I want to expose him to this environment and the Springbok ethos and I’m very excited to work with him.
"It will be great to have Bakkies, Jaque and JP in the squad — all of them are really excited to play for the Springboks again. They have heaps of experience and are world-class players. Pieter-Steph missed a large part of the season because of injury but has been exceptional since his return to the playing field in September, while we’ve always rated Frans very highly and look forward to working with him again.
"And Louis has always been on our radar — he is only 23, fits in with the way we want to play and was impressive when he worked with us in June. Since then he’s established himself as first choice at Western Province, starting in nine of their 12 Absa Currie Cup matches. I believe he will learn a lot on this tour, improving even more," he said.
