A 37-year-old man has admitting possessing the indecent images of children aged between ten and 14-years-old.
Troy Helliwell, of Waindale Close, Mount Tabor, pleaded guilty to 21 counts of making indecent photographs of a child relating to 2,959 pictures.
The HGV driver was uncovered when he dropped a USB memory stick at work containing eight of the images in July 2011.
Calderdale Magistrates' Court heard that it was found by a colleague who looked at the files saved on the memory stick and found the images and confirmation that it did belong to Helliwell.

After deliberation magistrates decided that they required a pre-sentence report before they could sentence Helliwell.
